Ovie gets 2 for that hit last night? Shoulda been a couple more if you ask me. And yes, he's one of the ones I like but I want a safe game and stuff like that doesn't have a place in it.

Martin Brodeur gets shutout #103, 3-0 over Buffalo, tying him with Terry Sawchuk for most ever. IMO, the best in my lifetime, if not ever. Well Done Martin!!

Leafs win again, 5-2 over Atlanta. Hard to believe the Thrashers have been around for 10 years. Almost time for them to pack up and move to Hamilton! *LOL*

You know as well as I do that the jac kass that is Gary Bettman would move them to KC, Houston, Vegas, Seattle, San Juan, Mexico City, Sydney or some other place where the NHL would never get a foot-hold before he'd admit he was wrong to begin with letting teams so easily leave Canada. That is that jac kass' M.O.
The proper thing to do is to move Atlanta to Winnipeg, either Nashville or Columbus to Quebec, the other to Kitchener/Waterloo, and finally Florida to Hartford. Then if another team goes bad, try Houston or KC, but put the teams back in markets that they could thrive under the right conditions. And, I think they would in all these locations.

Ahem.... back on topic. For those of you not paying attention. The Leafs are winning more than they are losing lately and are only 4 points out of a playoff spot. Whoda thunk dat the way they started the season?
