Helllllooo,
my name is Brandi. I just recently got out of the army after 8 years of serving as an MP. I was stationed in Germany for 6 of those years and Iraq for 1. when i came home from Iraq i bought an 05 srt4/ the best car in the world for me at the time. When i moved back to the states i had to get a truck due to all the moving i had to do. I moved from Germany to georgia to missouri in a 4 month period. The army does crazy things. anyways Finally when we got settled in missouri i got rid of the slow gas hog and now i have my 06 Scion TC. Love the car. The color the look the handling is great for a stock. but the worst part about it is it is an automatic. I am not an automatic girl. well anyways. the reason for all these moves is because my step son was hospitalized for 6 months and we had to come back to the states so that we could be close to him. and since i haven't found a job around here that will afford me the time that i need to take care of him we are living off my husbands military income. not only that we have a mortgage as well. anywho my husband has dreamt of owning a VW Corrado VR6. I finally found him the one he wants and so i am spending all my scion upgrade money on getting him his dream car. i have been saving the money for a few years, but its an easy spend considering all he has done for me. But at the same time i miss having the turbo the blow off the power and the excitement. I have been watching the speed channel trying to get ideas but everything i like is way out of my budget. I dont know how you guys pick who gets Fine Tuned, but I just hope you keep me in mind when forced to make that hard decision. And if not ill just keep askin.[/img]

Pete Huttlinger has established himself as a solo fingerstyle player with speedy and clean chops as well as an ear for catchy tunes, but he is also an in-demand Nashville session player who has appeared on numerous Grammy-winning records. As both a studio musician and live performer, Huttlinger has worked as a sideman with some of the top names in pop music, including John Denver, with whom he toured for three years. And most recently, he has been performing with LeAnn Rimes, supporting her vocals with his elegant solo guitar, including a recent appearance on the Sundance Channel series Live from Abbey Road.
Huttlinger jump-started his career as a solo guitarist by winning the National Fingerstyle Championship at the Walnut Valley Festival in 2000 and followed that achievement with a half-dozen solo CDs, including The Santa Rita Connection (2004), Things Are Looking Up (2007), and his most recent—and most ambitious—project, Fingerpicking Wonder, a collection of Stevie Wonder tunes arranged for solo guitar.
Huttlinger has put a lot of effort into sharing his knowledge with others, teaching at guitar camps like Fur Peace Ranch and the Swannanoa Gathering and creating a popular series of instructional DVDs, including Essential Exercises for Fingerstyle Guitar, A Guitarist’s Guide to Better Practicing, and Pete Huttlinger’s Wonderful World of Chords (all on Homespun Tapes). Drawing on his experience in pop music, Huttlinger has also produced DVDs that teach the songs of John Denver, Jim Croce, and Gordon Lightfoot.
Anyone who spends time with Huttlinger is sure to notice his energy and enthusiasm for the guitar and his good-natured sense of humor—he even posts a “Joke of the Day” on his website. Huttlinger’s quick wit served as a source of inspiration for his latest CD. As he explains, “The title came to me on an airplane, Fingerpicking Wonder, and I thought it was such a funny title because of the play on words that I thought ‘I have to do this!’ I just like a good joke.” Huttlinger had already tackled one of Wonder’s tunes—his jaw-dropping arrangement of “Superstition” (transcribed in the October 2009 issue of Acoustic Guitar) first appeared on The Santa Rita Connection and continues to astonish audiences.

Yeah, scion TC is a great car. I owned it for several years and now I have this plan of tinting it and getting a car bra. Car bras look fantastic.
