With all the mfgs high-tailing it out of WRC, 2009 coverage may well be a moot point.

They should cut the bald headed idiot from pinks salary, then cut the stupid reruns of their pointless shows at 2am and play the races then...DVR FTW!!
Pinks and it's offspring are about the most profitable programming they have. And Rich OWNS they show, so you don't really have a salary to cut.
Speed have stated that Pinks is their most profitable show for whatever that is worth.
It promotes illegal gambling (and street racing) although it is comic how badly prepared the cars are for their events and how crooked it is.
There is better racing any Saturday night at almost any drag strip in America.
Oh, and the "host" is dumb enough to say (on camera no less) that he knows nothing about racing...well, it shows.

Not sure you can equate it to promoting street racing, since they do all their racing at the strip, just using Rich to start rather than the tree.
But it's hard to argue a business decision for a program that has had 2 million viewers a week vs 10-15,000.

In the latest Racer magazine, there is an interview with the old Speed director of programming or something and that guy told Racer that Speed will never get Rally as long as they (the FIA) doesn't make BIG, VERY BIG changes to the WRC.

It is absolute BS. PINKS is mindless crap, what the heck does it have to with driving or driving skill?
