One more top five would make 10 on the year for Kyle, and make him one of only 4 drivers to have at least 10 top fives in each of the last four seasons; Jimmie, Jeff and Tony are the three who've already done it. Kyle's already never had fewer than 9 in a season.

There's not a more interesting, fascinating, polarizing and unpredictable driver out there, and when someone like that is marginalized -- as the Chase does to anyone who's not in it -- NASCAR suffers as a result.

Kyle's team is just "rumors"... but I believe we all know that race shop wasn't built for modifieds.
Harvick told the truck boys on SPEED that Ren was under contract through next year.
