KyBu registered a perfect driver rating of 150.0 tonight, the 7th time he's been el perfecto in his NNS career.

Terrific!

NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES

LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY

OCTOBER 16, 2009

We were at that race. It was amazing to watch it in person. Kyle was DOMINANT! No one could touch him. Just being there you could feel his determination lap after lap. The other competitors didn't have a chance and it seemed like thay all knew that. The race was on for second place and that was about that. Kyle was not going to be denied. It was a statement for sure. Glad to see it.

Lowe's is a nice facility too. We scored tickets in the parking lot for $22.50 each in Ford, row 19.

The rain held off until the checkered flag, but for the whole weekend, it was typical for us, 8 NASCAR races and each time, extreme weather. We must be a jinx.

Congratulations Kyle. I'm glad he's feeling better. It certainly showed he was happy to be back in his car.

We watch Kyle Busch totally dominate Friday's race, then witnessed Jimmie Johnson totally dominate Saturday's race. Aside from the fact that both races were somewhat boring, you could say that we watched two of the greatest drivers in history spank the rest of the field.

P.S. Glad to see that this thread is still going. I guess we should just ride it until they make it read only. It's good to be back here, like putting on a comfortable pair of jeans.

P.P.S. Stopped in Marietta, OH on the way home. Staying at the historical Lafayette Hotel on the Ohio River. It's really neat. Hoping that the hotel ghosts stay out of our room tonight. :0

His Nationwide point lead is up to 190 points so he's back into the range of being able to celebrate the championship a race early at Phoenix.

It was his 28th career win, three behind Jack Ingram for 3rd all time and breaking his tie with Jeff Burton for 4th.

His 2429 laps led are as many as the next 7 highest lap leader combined.

It was JGR's 12th Nationwide win of the year; they've won 31 of the last 66 Nationwide races, 17 of them being with Kyle Busch.

This is a storied event on a wild racetrack. The list of past winners is amazing.

Edit: I'll put the list in for those interested. Short track heroes ...

Next Monday night, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano will be the guest hosts for WWE Monday Night Raw.

Debris caution jokes can begin now.

Kyle should have found a tad more weight in that right foot prior to the finish line. wink

He's reformed. raspberry

Yesterday, Beavis reminded us all that he has the potential to become an even bigger butthead than Kyle. After he leaves the cloistered shrine behind and goes to work for Penske, he will have an opportunity to generate some serious hatred.

Big set and a bad attitude ... a car owner's dream. We might have to start a thread.
