101 cars missed it tonight

Well, I tuned in to see the show tonight because it featured what I consider to be the king of cool, the Porsche Speedster. What I saw was a nicely preserved 1959 Convertable D. The 356 cabriolet model that followed the Speedster. Not as light, not as fast, lots of creature comforts and not the stripped down version designed for the American enthusiast market. Here's a photo of the real thing.

As soon as I saw the window cranks on the door, I realized that he wasn't in a Speedster (They didn't have side windows....at least my dad's didn't.)
They proved their lack of credibility right then and there.

It seems most of us agree, the show is great the host is not. I hope everyone else sent of an email to speed with there opinion of the host.Use the feedback link. Thats the whole reason I created a profile and now I see I'm not alone. I did enjoy the show on my favorite, second generation Corvair. Thats right I said Corvair...lol
