So first it's evil Dani Robot and then he shows some passion and it's evil uncontrolled Pedrosa? The incident was a typical 125 melee...........packs of guys furiously jockeying for a spot and then two of them coming together one falling and then a confrontation..................racing incident pure and simple.

RR, the melodrama is too much.
Put on your birra goggles and you'll be able to see it the way RR does. He reminds me of those "Ask a ..." columns at The Onion, where questions are replied to with tedious non-sequiturs.
Ask an Italian Jingoist
Q: My boyfriend dumped me for my best friend. What should I do?
A: Marco Melandri is twice the rider Toseland will ever be, and Pedrosa isn't fit to clean Rossi's boots with his tongue.
Q: A co-worker is having an affair with an intern. Should I tell our supervisor?
A: Doviozioso has more talent in his ingrown toenail than Hayden has in his whole body, and Biaggi was fired because he spoke his mind to his Japanese overlords.
etc.

But this one involves the (until yesterday) MotoGP world championship leader. This one involves one of the top riders in the world, who has an 'often discussed' personality. That is why I brought it up.
And sorry if it sounds 'melodramatic' but the video infuriated me. Yes, the incident on the track was a fairly normal incident... but Dani's reaction and his blame was not.
Dani was wrong for accusing the other guy. Ok, that is bad but not that bad. What made me crazy was that he was basically acting like an arogant bully. He was acting like the big star that could do no wrong. He was basically arguing that Perugini had no right to even go near him... That doesn't make you mad? You don't think that it is people like that that make the world a $hity place to live in?
Whatever, AZRifel gets it... and that is good enough for me.

hell... they were not even raising their voices...
the fact that a rather innocuous video can "infuriate" someone so much is endlessly amusing to me...

And I understand enough to see Dani and Puig attacking Perugini, who responds with a reasonable "I was just riding on my line and you hit me", to which Dani responds with a resounding "No, you don't know what you are talking about..."
Look, I get it.. some of you watch your hour of speed on Sunday and that is it. That is your exposure to the GP world. Fine. And for you, it might not seem like a big idea.
But some of us follow it more closely (yes, maybe I need to get a life). Some of us are familliar with Piug and Pedrosa going through 125's and 250's like their $hit didn't stink. Like Dani was entitled to everything, and other guys shouldn't even bother to race him or go near him... less they disturb his ascendance to greatness.
Perugini was just a kid trying to make a career out of racing. He was fighting for the title that year... and now he is nobody. So yeah, I don't like watching him be insulted by Dani and Piug. Not because of what happened on track, but because of his status.
