Hey, Bellwhiff... what you think of this news? I've only seen Silverstone on TV for WSB/WSS races, seems a bit odd track. Former WWII airbase or airport right?

Doh...appears so if I'd looked at the image. red face

The track has that nasty hairpin just before coming into the grandstand area. (Bayless lost a finger there..I think?) But James won it there last year WHOA HOOO And those endless planes coming over the track...like Southwest a/lines. They could get closer spectating view.... Its a pain...Running all over the show. Talk about freeze your buns off, when the wind whips throu there. As for Silverstone, never been there...more for 4 wheels ... The race with Bayless coming off in the pissin' rain 1/2 a Doz times was incredible to watch. That was a few years ago !

Silverstone was an incredible track, very high speed until F1 castrated it into (I believe) a series of chicanes. On the upside the facilities are good from what I hear and I've heard enough ######## about the 'loos' at Donington to last a lifetime LOL

Hi and good to see that you have subscribed to motogpnews.com

Silverstone is a bunch of arrse. It is a soulless F1 track. I hate the place and the only reason that Silverstone is interested is because Bernie the Dwarf keeps threatening to take the Boremula One away.
