Trying to figure out the need for the large intake nostril. Looks like an exaggerated RS Spyder nose, doesn’t it?

It’s a Dallara, of course it’s ugly!

Agree with the comments on the ugly cars - where form follows function with nary a car stylist in sight.  Second tier tightly controlled formula car racing cannot afford the expertise to do attractive designs that are also functional. It’s just functional like France’s car of tomorrow.  Dodge does ugly better than Grand Am or NASCAR.  Kind of hard to watch these races when these ugly cookie-cutter cars force you to turn your head away, or go for another beer. Go, Fabcar! Go, RX-8, Go, awkward functional swoopy lines of glory… they look good after they crash, though.

in my opinion Dallara has produced a number of great looking cars. The Dallara LMP, sexy car, Dallara did work on the Audi R8 and R10, both sexy timeless designs. Its very hard to make Daytona Prototype look good. The crawford was a good looking car but still a fugly car.
