South Africa Race - Spoilers…don’t read if you have not seen it

OK, I just watched it and I have to say the feature race was the most embarrassing un-professional race (by the drivers) I've seen in a LONG time. That race made my online racing league look like seasoned veterans.

What was stupid was that everybody KNEW that the first turn needed to be done carefully. The league has some responsibility to make sure the drivers understand to be careful at the start. Or change the rules so that there is NO passing in turn 1 on the start (or restarts)

I'm a bit surprised that Zaugg got to keep his points from that race.

Though I wasn't a big fan of it when I first saw it, that white line Cotman had at San Jose might be an idea worth thinking about (I know the line was more for blocking but still). The line would have to be put close enough to the racing line to make passing worthwhile. Another idea would be to make that little berm where the rumblestrips are at Turn 1 exercise a greater penalty to make drivers think twice about it. If they fail to do so there (or any other corner), the driver is sat down for the next race.
