Hello, I'm in Guanajuato as I type this. I didn't realize the rally is here this weekend. Any advice from those who have been to this event. I know enough spanish to get by, but the last thing I want to do is be caught in the middle of the desert with no where to go. I assume the crowds will lead me in the right direction.

Went when it was first there. Rally HQ was in the center of Leon but opening night was in Guanajuanto. People there should have some guides as to where some of the better spectator areas are. Wasn't very hard to find the stages but they did close some of the roads to get there about 2 hours before the cars ran. I think the guides had some maps in them too. It also said where the best place was to spectate. It's linked.
