I know this is a WRC forum, but since there's no Rally-America specific forum, this seemed the most appropriate place to post.

My wife's family and I will be headed to Salem, MO next weekend to see the 100 Acre Wood Rally. This will be a first rally for either of us. Any advice to a novice rally spectator either in general or specific to the 100 Acre Wood event? I know I'm going to enjoy it regardless, but I want to be sure that my wife, in-laws and young nephew also have a great time.

Get there EARLY!! Plan on only seeing half or so of the stages run. (usually you can make it to every other stage to spectate... w/some luck)

Be super tolerant of other spectators (some people can be really annoying), & if you can, link up/make friends w/some people who've been a few times &/or live nearby. They'll give you some great shortcuts, & tips for viewing. Enjoy!!

Cool. Thanks for the info. We'll probably not even attempt to see every stage. With a 4yr-old and grandfolks in tow, we're not likely to move that fast. raspberry Any of the stages that are especially better than any others?

Don't know really. Best to ask a local.
I've never been to that particular Rally.

Hi,
I would love to hear from someone who went to the 100 acre wood rally. I grew up in that area, now I live in K.C. and did not get to go to the rally this year due to the weather. I have been several times and volunteered twice.
