i agree get rid of the soap opera tv show,s and bring back wrc.thats racing.

Another year of no WRC coverage.
Another year of me watching less and less SpeedTV.
I used to channel surf to Speed each time I had the TV on.
I can't do that any longer because I get too upset with all the reality crap and over-coverage of NASCAR.

That's exactly the reason a lot of the coverages are lacking. People turn away. No ratings. No ratings, no money.

WRONG ANSWER! WRC is not on SpeedTV since they don't want to pay the FIA the $ they were asking.
Ratings are not the issue. It's also a decision re: to whom they are marketing.
Bottom line is that I, along with at least a dozen or so friends really don't watch much SpeedTV anymore.
We only watch a very few select programs.
As a result, SpeedTV advertisers have lost the ability to reach out to about a dozen people who have tons of disposable income...
and who buy expensive toys.
Now, multiply this by tens of thousands.
Clearly, SpeedTV's strategic decision was (and is) to dumb down their programming to appeal mostly to Joe Lunchbox/Mouth Breather/Reality TV watching dolts.
Even the SpeedTV website reflects this.
It all began when they moved their HQ to Charlotte.

That was a great channel with some great programming. Even their non-race event shows were great. Victory By Design was a fantastic production.

Maybe Bob, David and Steve should break-away and start their own F1 & WRC network. I'd hook up a colostomy bag to sit and watch that 24/7!

My satelite was having problems on the weekend, lost the guide.

When it was sorta working it listed Speedvision as one of my channels.

I really wish they would bring WRC back.....

Even tough I have a 24" monitor on my computer to watch the downloads I get, I would much rather watch it on my big screen on SPEED.

Not to mention in HD maybe....

One can only dream....and hope.

Aren`t the same wrap-up shows that were on Speed available for free on the WRC website?
It was pay last year.

I`ll check this weekend. Mexico starts Tomorrow

There are ways to get it onto your TV. I use my playstation 3, it plays the file I get, I place it on a usb flash and put it into the ps3. There are other methods too. Just a thought...

I miss WRC on speed too, but I follow it on wrc.com like everyone else. I think some day it will come back!
