PAO / Norwalk REGISTRATION TIMELINE

OK, this may get lengthy but try to follow this. Since PAO announced their 2010 events I was going to do whatever it took to get my car in a race. PAO is coming to Norwalk, Ohio which is 3 hours away from me. So I had a plan that I would try to get in on both the internet as well as the phone at the same time, my wife was going to do the same at work. That gave us 4 chances to try to make it into the show. NOW IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING: The registration was to open 12/7/09 at 12:00 noon EST sharp! At 11:45am I was able to get through Norwalk's website and get to the page where you register. The page said nothing yet. I backed out and tried the phone which was already busy and stayed busy for the duration. I went back to Norwalk's site at 11:52 and could not get in and yes I have high-speed roadrunner internet. My wife could not get into Norwalk's site either. I then went into my computer's history and found the web address that I was on for registration. At 11:56 I got through and half the battle was done and I told my wife to do the same, that's where I got off the phone with her so we could concentrate on getting through by phone and internet. I kept refreshing my page until the page had a prompt for registering. At 12:00 noon on the nose I got the prompt and bang I got through. I filled in all the info they requested and at 12:01 I hit checkout and could not proceed. From 12:01-30 to 12:05 I kept trying to checkout, at 12:05-30 I finally got a screen that said SOLD-OUT! My wife called to see how I made out, I told her that I got through but couldn't checkout. My wife said that she finally got through at 12:00-30 and the site said SOLD-OUT! I friend of mine called me to find out if I was in and said that he got through at 12:00-15 and he said that his screen said SOLD-OUT! THIS IS F*@#ING BULLS@*T! How can you have 425 spots sell out in 15 seconds, its scientifically impossible! Norwalk's website said that last year they sold out in 12 minutes, this year its 12 seconds, BULLS@*T! I have read blogs in the past where people say that the show is rigged and didn't believe it. Well maybe now I might see where this is possible. Think about it! Norwalk sells out in at best 15 seconds but you will have cars there that have been there before. You'll have cars that have raced at other PAO events and tracks. You'll have 2 brothers competeing at the same event. You'll have a father and son or husband and wife racing at the same event. HOW CAN THIS BE IF IT SELLS OUT IN SECONDS! Does PAO reserve spots for RINGERS! Does PAO hold back spots for INVITATION ONLY! To say that I am pissed is an understatement. I WILL NEVER ATTEMPT TO REGISTER AGAIN NOR WILL MY FRIEND AFTER THIS BULLS@*T. I am also betting that someone will email in to say that its not fixed and that they got in with ease. I'll put money on it that it will be someone from the Pinks underground. WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE THINK!!!!!!!!!!!

Get rid of this guy and go back to a more professional format. Show more of the "Grassroot Racers" and their cars as they work hard and scratch and claw their way to the top. If I have to watch another season with this Willie B., I am going to take up watching paint dry or American Idol!

Greatest show on the TV !! Will miss new ones this winter. Looking foreward to a new season!

I know it is all a matter of funding, but would LOVE to see ALL OUT Shows be at least 1.5 hours or 2.0 hours would be better!! The TV audience misses about all of the time trials which would be SUPER to see!!

BTY--I do support all of Pinks' Sponsers as much as I can!!! Thanks!!

Pinks, Rich & The Crew, The Pritchett brothers & Wee Wet Willy!

Okay, first off I've watched Pinks since the beginning plus I've gone to see the taping of the original Pinks show at Lebanon Valley Dragway in NY. I do miss Nate & his brother but surely I can understand them grabbing their piece of the money pie with PBR, congrats to them! BUT.....replacing them with Wilie B? where did they dig this guy up from? From his stupid comments & his down right idiotic grin he really looks like the porch lights on but nobody's home!!!

All you guys saying "get rid of Rich" are forgetting one minor detail....It's HIS SHOW! He created the original Pinks, Drag Race High, Pass Time and of coarse Pinks All Out and of coarse there's lot's more technical stuff he is responsible for but you get the idea. Brian Bossone was an early competitor on the original show and I believe Nate was also. Clay Millican brings a great level of expertise to the show! The rest of the crew works well except for Steve Meade (Wee Wet Willy) whom I have not yet read one post in favor of his presence on the show! This I agree with the majority, dump him! BEFORE he drags the show down! Now I'm not all pro-Rich and there are many things I may not agree with but I still enjoy the show and if I wasn't forced to sell my pro-streeted 1954 Ford (medical reasons) you can bet your arse I would be there when they came to town!

Keep up the good work Rich but PLEASE LOSE Wee Wet Wille!

Valvoline: Tell the Sponsor what you think about the new format.

The link below will open up a contact for to Valvoline. For those that have strong opinions about the new format of the show, the best was to get it changed is to contact the sponsors so that they know how we feel. Be polite, but make sure that they understand whether the new format makes you want to use Valvoline or not.
