Dakar 2010 is almost here. The vehicles are currently underway by boat and will arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina on December 28th.

The race will start January 2nd and will run in the opposite direction as compared to last year.

Video will probably be available starting around the same date on this site. (Commentary will be in Dutch, but the footage should be great!)

Why doesnt speed channel show any rally racing? I have been very frustrated this past couple of years with no coverage.

Rally driving is by far the most skilled and exciting form of auto racing on Earth. PLEASE GET SOME OF THIS ON MY TV

Marcus Grönholm will race in The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Marcus Grönholm, Finland, will race in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb this year. He will drive a rallycross Ford Fiesta of a Swedish team.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (AP) — The Sweden-based Olsberg Motor Sport Evolution team will introduce Fiesta Rallycross cars to the United States for the first time in July when they launch their bid to break the 10-minute mark at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Four-time Swedish rally champion and team manager Andreas Eriksson, 35, will race one Fiesta in the unlimited class and Marcus Gronholm the other. Gronholm, 41, is one of world rallying's most accomplished drivers, with two World Championships and 30 WRC victories.

The Ferrari F1 driver Kimi Räikkönen is going to race in the "Rally of the Thousand Lakes" in Finland in his Fiat Grande Punto S2000.

It is his 4th rally that I know of. 2 Winter rallies in Finland, one dry asphalt rally in Italy and now he will race in a gravel rally in very fast roads.
