Jerry Punch will return to pit reporter duties and should make a big improvement on ESPN's pit stable.

BAM Racing & Warner Music Nashville in 2010

Hi all!

I'm not for sure if anyone is aware or not, but BAM Racing will be returning to the track next season in a new partnership with Warner Music Nashville. BAM and WMN will be featuring several Warner Music Nashville artists’ throughout the 2010 season on the No. 49 Toyota.

This is a really unique deal for any country music or racing fan; WMN and BAM Racing have developed http://www.VIPFanExperience.com which is delegated to get fans inside country music and NASCAR through patent pending technology. It costs only $100.00 to get inside, but the perks you get are literally worth thousands. It is really awesome!

Much apology if this has already been posted on here before or not. Just wanted to get the discussion going about BAM and this new deal because VIP Fan Experience is a really cool site/experience for any NASCAR or country music fan!

I look forward to blogging about NASCAR with you all...it should be a fun year!

Brandon

P.S. Thought I’d post this in case anyone here is a fan of Larry The Cable Guy or Gloriana: If you go to VIP Fan Experience's Facebook @ http://www.VIPFanExperience.com/FB you have a chance to win an autographed picture from Gloriana and Larry the Cable Guy (LTCG will be the first artist featured on the car in '10). See rules on how to win the autographed pictures on the Facebook page. The best part about it is it's free; all you have to do is come up with a line! If you win it’ll make a great Christmas present for the hard to buy for people on your list!

Two new Toyotas in the NNS

According to Jayski:

Rusty Wallace forms alliance with Joe Gibbs Racing: Officials of Rusty Wallace Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing announced the formation of a technical alliance between the two teams, under which JGR will provide RWR with technical support for the development of NASCAR Nationwide Series Toyota Camry race cars. In the last two Nationwide Series seasons, RWR has fielded a pair of Chevy Impalas and in 2009 was the only team with multiple drivers among the top-ten in the year-end driver standings. For the 2010 season, the team will campaign factory-backed Toyota Camrys, with engines provided by Triad Racing Development.(RWR PR), for more info see my Nationwide Series page.(12-14-2009)

I can't say I blame them. I mean, JGR has been dominant for a few seasons, and that doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. I'm a bit disappointed though. I'd rather see a few new Ford teams, but it seems as though Ford would rather have Roush Racing than any other teams. Chevy seems to be downsizing their Nascar efforts.

What this means to RWR in terms of performance next year, remains to be seen. I felt as though they had decent stuff for most of the year, especially when they formed an alliance with KHI. However, I really don't see a whole lot in Stephen Wallace. Maybe that will change with some (supposedly) better equipment. Brendan I think will benefit most from this, in my opinion.

Maybe Joe Gibbs will use this as an opportunity to field a few new "up and comers" in the future, without having to expand his own operations directly. I believe Matt Dibennidetto (I know that's spelled wrong) and Brad Coleman may someday get a full seat in there, while allowing JGR to keep Kyle Busch in a full time seat and the 20 car as a car used for Joey, Denny and anyone else.
