        Helllllooo, <br />
my name is Brandi. I just recently got out of the army after 8 years of serving as an MP. I was stationed in Germany for 6 of those years and Iraq for 1. when i came home from Iraq i bought an 05 srt4/ the best car in the world for me at the time. When i moved back to the states i had to get a truck due to all the moving i had to do. I moved from Germany to georgia to missouri in a 4 month period. The army does crazy things. anyways Finally when we got settled in missouri i got rid of the slow gas hog and now i have my 06 Scion TC. Love the car. The color the look the handling is great for a stock. but the worst part about it is it is an automatic. I am not an automatic girl. well anyways. the reason for all these moves is because my step son was hospitalized for 6 months and we had to come back to the states so that we could be close to him. and since i haven't found a job around here that will afford me the time that i need to take care of him we are living off my husbands military income. not only that we have a mortgage as well. anywho my husband has dreamt of owning a VW Corrado VR6. I finally found him the one he wants and so i am spending all my scion upgrade money on getting him his dream car. i have been saving the money for a few years, but its an easy spend considering all he has done for me. But at the same time i miss having the turbo the blow off the power and the excitement. I have been watching the speed channel trying to get ideas but everything i like is way out of my budget. I dont know how you guys pick who gets Fine Tuned, but I just hope you keep me in mind when forced to make that hard decision. And if not ill just keep askin.[/img]

My friend Peter is getting an 03' Evo in Spring. He wants me to help him decide what performance parts to get. This will be his summer car, as we live in Wisconsin. I decided anything over 475hp would most likely be too much for him. He is on a $20,000 budget. I'm looking at the ATP Stage 3 Stealth kit with Garrett GT3071R turbo with .82 A/R. This unit alone is capable of making over 375whp. Also I thought maybe the HKS Hi-Power exhaust, 272 cams, and Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic clutch. This is just a start. He will want a nicely suspended car as well. I think for the brakes he should just do rotors, pads, and lines to help out the stops. What do you guys think? Give me some ideas.

I understand that Neuspeed's reprogramming for the GTI engine management system adds around 50 HP, anyone got any experience with that? Are there any competing upgrades from other vendors with similar or better numbers?

I recently bought a very low condition 1996 Subaru SVX for pretty cheap. I intend to replace anything that i can in the car over the next few years until it is like new condition. As parts are hard to find for the SVX, since it was only made for 5 years, im only focusing on replacing the engine, but i don't really know too much about cars. All I'm asking right now is what i should be looking for when i replace the current engine with a new one. Should I go and find a decent condition boxer engine and just place in? Or does anyone else have other ideas for what I could do?

I would like to build an open wheel car, using a FWD setup, in the back. A north-south set up would look the best but I think they are all auto's. I want a stick and be able to get different rear gears, anyone make a quick change.
