Man, this board has gotten sloooooooooooow...just not much going on.

Why?

I know, for me, that the whole redesign and difficulty with logging on and staying logged on puts me off...and, then, when I do get on, there's not much going on here. Our numbers of posters has dropped, many of the most "vocal" folks are gone and the board doesn't seem to be attracting many new people...not a good equation.

Where did everyone go? (and the LOTI board isn't an option, as it is so active, it might draw me in, like a vortex, and I'll never get any work done )

hello, i'm looking for help in getting the info i need to rebuild a '88 Ford Thunderbird Sport/Turbo coupe. hopefully i'm posting in the correct area on the forums. my first car was a 88 Ford T-bird and sadly the motor went beyond my ability to repair. so i had to let the car go. but now i have another T-Bird which is the same year and all, but it's the not sport/turbo coupe. so i'm looking at taking the time and money to rebuild the car in to the sport/turbo coupe. how ever the first thing is to do plenty of research in to how to do this. any of your help would be highly thanked.

Also would anyone on here know what would be the difference if there was any between the Sport coupe and the Turbo coupe. from photos i have researched on google the only difference i can so far see was that motor had more ponies and the dash had an extra gage in the TAC for the PSI.

Just to let you guys know, the image function has been restored. While the old thread is gone(all of the longer threads were lost), with the img function working, you are free to restart your favorite threads from this forum. The automotive discussion forum, more than any other, really is worthless without pics.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

I just had to share this: Watching TV last night and watch one of our local Ford dealership adverting. It basically says this:

"Considering a car instead of a truck to save on gas?"

They show a '09 Honda Accord EX V6 starts at $25,960 while an '08 Ford F-150 XLT Supercrew is $19,999, for a savings of $5,961.

"Why wait 8 years to save the money you could save today? The truth is, you would have to drive the Accord more than 8 years to get your money back on fuel savings alone."

Challenge: How many holes can we put into the advertising?
