They changed qualifying so now you can use push to pass during one of the four qualifying sessions.
The drivers got to play with elephants as shown in the pre race events.

GP2 is probably the most expensive ride-buyer Series in the world.
But what about A1GP -? Anybody know the structure? Do the drivers pay -- or are they paid?
If they pay.. how much does it cost? If they are paid - what is an average salary?
I'm curious -- because with A1GP now having aquired IndyCar racing's huge 97 thousand person (race-day) crowd in Surfer's Paradise ; The new Powered by Ferrari Car; A grid full of hot upcoming drivers like Adam Carroll, Robert Doornbos and Nicholas Prost..
A1GP is looking (to me) like one of the fastest growing Open Wheel Racing Series in the world at the moment.

Which brings me to my point. I like A1GP's world cup concept - but I really like rooting for drivers & not Nations per se.
It sounds like Adam Carrol could be in the Team Ireland car again for Sepang and I think that is a good thing.
Ya know.. I could really get into this Series if they kept the same drivers in The Nations cars -- ALL SEASON, EVERY RACE.
Imagine, Danny Watts v. Doornbos, v. Carrol v. Prost v. Andretti -- EVERY RACE. I think the Series would be a lot bigger., and grow more fanbase.
Love just plain black.
