Peter Dempsey completes a hat trick by taking the win at Mosport park
over Joel Miller under yellow. That enables Dempsey to jump into the
point standings to 2nd behind Joel Miller by 1 point. Tom Gladdis completes
the podium. Polesitter John Edwards ends up in 4th and Alex Ardoin takes
5th. Previous points leader Charles Hall suffered right suspension damage
dropped him to 19th.

The "Jonathan brothers" have posted back-to-back 1-2 finishes at Trois-Riviereswith Jonathan Bomarito taking the win followed by Jonathan Summerton a decent 2nd by 1.59 seconds. Junior Strous fills the final podium position. Simona Di Silvestro takes the 4th spot. Rounding up the top 5 is Dane Cameron. James Hinchcliffe and Markus Niemela suffered huge blows in the points championship. Hinchcliffe was involved in a crash that also took out Kevin Lacroix. Hinch was penalized and that resulted a 20th an last place. Niemela suffered a mechanical failure that resulted a 3rd place tie in the point standings with 155 each.
Bomarito has a comfortable 191-163 lead over Summerton as they head down to New Jersey
Motorsports Park in September.

Peter Dempsey goes wire to wire to snare his 2nd win joining John Edwards who also
has 2 wins as Edwards finishes 2nd. Louisiana's Alex Ardoin grabs the final podium
spot and advances to 2nd behind series points leader Charles Hall who posted a 5th
after a P12 start. Joel Miller winds up in 4th and drops a spot in the standings. Edwards is now in the top 5 as they will remain North of the border with
Mosport next.

round at Trois-Rivieres edging John Edwards by .148 seconds. Fellow Americans

Another great run for the Jon-Jon's taking the front row with Jonathan Bomarito leading
the way to another pole in record time at Trois Rivieres. Fellow countryman Jonathan Summerton is outside row 1 by .299 seconds. Canadian Daniel Morad posted the 3rd best time followed by Dane Cameron as they start in row 2. Row 3 will be Markus Niemela and Carl Skerlong. James Hinchcliffe and Junior Strous are in the 4th row.
Rounding up the top 10 are Kevin Lacroix and David Martinez.

Another great performance for Alexander Rossi at Road America taking the 1st 2 rounds of 3
during a Formula BMW Americas triple header weekend. BMW Europe regular Adrian Tambay took
the final event with Rossi finishing 5th.
Thunderbolt raceway in New Jersey will be the next destination at the
end of September. He may have a chance to clinch the championship before
reaching Interlagos.
