Westport, Conn.

The Cars of '58: celebrates this turning point in American auto design and engineering 50 years ago.

Artful Dodgers: not for purists, but offered by Fairfield founders as a counterpoint, these are cars that were lost or gone forever, that have been replicated or simply re-created for continued enjoyment by appreciative fans.

The Classic Car Club of America: one of the premier clubs in the U.S. for cars made worldwide from 1925-48, CCCA will exhibit 15 of its members' cars.

Ferrari Exhibit: highlighting important rare and sports racing cars from Maranello, including fashion icon Ralph Lauren's exquisite 1958 pontoon-fendered 250Testa Rossa, rarely seen in public. Other racing Ferraris on display include a 1950 166 Barchetta, a rare competition California Spider, and one of the legendary 1962 250 GTO's. Road-going examples include a 500 Superfast, and James Glickenhaus' 2006 P4/5 tribute of the Ferrari P3/4 prototypes, built by Pininfarina on an Enzo-based chassis.

The two-day event features a 50-mile "Nutmeg Tour for Autism" on Saturday, Sept. 20 with some 50 vintage cars participating; Saturday evening there's a gala reception and dinner, with guest speaker Frank Deford, senior contributing editor for Sports Illustrated. The gala
also honors leading automotive artist Chuck Queener.

Concours and judging will be held Sunday, Sept. 21. The field opens from 10 a.m - 4 p.m. with judging ending at 2 p.m. Cars and motorcycles will be arranged by year, with the oldest one being closest to the entrance.
