Matt Carter Top SunTrust Rookie Contender

Matt Carter, driver of the Larry Clement-owned No. 46 Ford Fusion, has emerged as the leading candidate for the 2008 SunTrust Rookie of the Year title in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. The Denver, North Carolina, native is on track to pick up the SunTrust Rookie title and its $10,000 cash prize at the ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Kentucky on December 6th. Final determination of the award is based on a combination of points earned and the vote of a competition committee, with consideration to both driver conduct and performance and will be officially announced on December 6th.

D'Hondt Motorsports Signs Alli Owens

Alli Owens and D'Hondt Motorsports have announced a partnership for the 2009 racing season in which the twenty-year-old driver will pilot the No. 19 ElectrifyingCareers.com Toyota in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

The 2009 season marks the third consecutive year that ElectrifyingCareers.com has supported Owens and her racing efforts. The team will make their on-track debut on December 19 when they participate in the ARCA RE/MAX Series three-day open test session at Daytona International Speedway.

RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet December 6th

The 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet is on Saturday evening, December 6th at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Kentucky. Honorees include 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Champion Justin Allgaier, car owner Mike Allgaier and the top-20 point finishers.
