Even before making his debut as Scott Speed's replacement at Scuderia Toro Rosso, former BMW tester Sebastien Vettel has been confirmed as STR's first racer for the 2008 season.
The 19-year-old German made his Grand Prix debut earlier this season, replacing the sidelined Robert Kubica at the USGP at Indy. He had an off in the first corner of the first lap but rallied to an eighth-place finish, becoming the youngest ever points scorer in F1 history.
