Lola is a slightly different case to other manufacturers at Le Mans, having a wide range of chassis types on some entry lists. But Sam Smith of Lola Cars explains the confusion “internally we use different
designations for different engine installations and it seems that these became external at some point. However, now we generally use the following as a rule.
